- Rank them by their level of importance and urgency.
- Focus on completing your MITs before moving on to smaller tasks.
2. Break Big Tasks Into Smaller Steps
Large tasks can be overwhelming, but breaking them down into smaller, manageable steps makes them feel more achievable. For example, if you need to write a report, break it into steps like "research," "outline," "draft," and "edit." This not only helps you focus but also gives you a sense of accomplishment as you complete each step.
3. Use the Eisenhower Matrix
The Eisenhower Matrix is a productivity tool that divides tasks into four quadrants:- Urgent and Important: Do these tasks immediately.
- Not Urgent but Important: Schedule these for later.
